How to Unmask Customer Addresses from TikTok Shop in Shopify

Seeing anonymized customer addresses in Shopify? Here’s how to fix it.

When integrating TikTok Shop with Shopify, if customer address data appears anonymized, it's likely due to the shipping settings configured in your TikTok Shop Seller Center.

By default, TikTok uses "TikTok Shipping," which conceals customer details for privacy reasons. To get full address details in Shopify, switch to Seller Shipping.

✅ How to Switch to Seller Shipping:

  1. In the left menu, go to Orders > Fulfillment Settings.

  2. Click Shipping and Delivery.

  3. Under Shipping Options, choose Seller Shipping.

  4. Assign a shipping template to your warehouse

    Note: Ensure that your warehouse is assigned to a shipping template.

    If not, create a shipping template and link it to your warehouse.

  5. Click OK to save.

By switching to "Seller Shipping" and assigning a shipping template to your warehouse, TikTok will provide full customer information, including addresses, to Shopify. This change will apply to future orders; existing orders with anonymized data will remain unchanged.
