2. Go to Your Profile Settings
Once logged in, click your name in the top-right corner.

3. Update the Email Used for 2FA
CDTFA is not able to send authentication codes to secondary logins at the moment. Please replace main email with Kintsugi’s secure Virtual Mail Group email address (VMG ID).
Here’s how:
Under Profile Information, locate your current email address.
Click Edit.
Replace it with the Kintsugi Virtual Mail Group (VMG) ID you copied from the app.
Click Save Changes
⚠️ Important:
This update is temporary and only used for secure tax access.
You can revert to your original email after we complete setup.
We recommend adding your personal or work email to the same Virtual Mail Group in Kintsugi so you continue receiving state notices.
Because of this, the previous setup process presented below is temporarily on hold and not in use at this time until further notice.
