Kintsugi makes managing your European Union (EU) VAT (Value Added Tax) obligations simple and straightforward. This guide will walk you through the key features of our EU jurisdiction dashboard interface.
The Dashboard tab offers a comprehensive, map-based representation of your European tax exposure, along with a summary of key information.
Key Features:
Region Selector
Easily switch between viewing tax information for the United States, Canada, or Europe with a simple dropdown menu.
Interactive EU Map
When "Europe" is selected, a map of EU countries appears.
Quick Details on Hover
Hovering over a country reveals a tooltip showing:
Country name
Exposure date (Met Date)
Collected tax
Tax liability
Jurisdiction Details
Click “Expand” or “View” to access a more detailed overview of a specific country’s jurisdiction.

From the Details section of the Dashboard page, click the Filter button. Select an EU country (e.g., Sweden) and then click “Apply.”
For any selected country (e.g., Sweden), the following details will be displayed:
Total Sales
Total Transactions
Outstanding Liability
Collected Tax
Both Total Sales and Collected Tax figures will be presented in the jurisdiction-specific currency (e.g., Swedish Krona).
Additionally, visualizations will include graphs for "Sales by Year" and "Sales by Jurisdiction."
