Data Sources in Kintsugi

Connect integrations or upload historical data to automate your sales tax workflows

Updated this week

The Data Sources tab in Kintsugi is where you connect your business systems and import transaction data automatically. This helps streamline and automate your sales tax workflows. You can also use it to manually upload historical data for migration.

What you can do in the Data Sources tab

  • Integrate your data sources – Connect directly to supported platforms so Kintsugi can automatically import transactions.

  • Manually upload data – Upload historical transactions via CSV for one-off or supplemental data needs.

Connecting integrations

  1. Go to the Data Sources tab in Kintsugi.

  2. Click Browse Integration.

  3. Choose the integration you need from the available list:

    • Billing – Chargebee and Stripe

    • E-commerce – Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Amazon, Magento, and Walmart

    • Accounting – QuickBooks and Xero

    • HR – Deel

  4. Set up the integration following the guide for your selected platform.

NOTE: Each integration has its own step-by-step help guide. You can find them in our Integration Setup Help Articles Collection.

Uploading data manually

If you need to load historical sales transactions, you can upload them via CSV. This is useful for:

  • Migrating from another system

  • Calculating nexus/tax exposure at a specific point in time
