If you ever need to share confidential information (such as passwords or secure credentials) with Kintsugi, please don’t send them through regular email.
Instead, use one of the following secure methods:
Option 1: Use Gmail’s Confidential Mode
If you’re using Gmail, you can securely share information using Confidential Mode — this prevents the recipient from forwarding, copying, downloading, or printing your message.
To send a message or file using Confidential Mode:
Open Gmail and click Compose.
In the compose window, click the lock-and-clock icon (Confidential Mode) at the bottom of the email.
Set an expiration date and, optionally, choose Require passcode for extra security.
Add your message and any attachments.
Click Send.
You’ll then receive a secure message confirmation, and your Kintsugi contact will receive a link to view the confidential content.
You can also visit Google’s official guide for more details:

Option 2: Use One-Time Secret
If you prefer not to use encrypted email, you can use a free, secure service like One-Time Secret.
To send a message through One-Time Secret:
Go to https://onetimesecret.com.
Enter your secret (for example, a password or confidential note).
Click Create a secret link.
Copy the generated link.
Share the link with your Kintsugi contact — never share the secret text directly.
Once opened, the link can’t be viewed again, keeping your information private and secure.
Important Reminder
Avoid sending sensitive information in plain text via email or chat.
Always verify you’re sharing information with a verified Kintsugi contact.
Use these secure methods whenever you need to send confidential data.
By using either of these methods, you help ensure your data — and ours — stays protected.
