Enabling Third-Party Access in Washington

How to grant Kintsugi access to your Washington Department of Revenue account.

This guide explains how to authorize Kintsugi as a third-party user in your Washington Department of Revenue account. Completing this step allows Kintsugi to securely access the information needed to support your sales tax registration and data import process.


Step 1: Access your My DOR Account

  1. Go to My DOR.

  2. Enter your credentials (SAW User ID and Password).

  3. Click the green “Log in to My DOR” button.

Step 2: Click on the green “Get Started” button

 This will take you to your account summary.

Step 3: Click “More Options” to proceed

Step 4: Select “Add or Remove Other Users’ Access”

You will see this under the “Your Account” section.

Step 5: Manage Customer Access

  1. Look for the “Manage Access” section.

  2. Click on “Add User.”

Step 6: Fill in the “Add New User” page

  1. Fill the “User Information” using the following details:

    1. SAW User ID: KintsugiWA

    2. Email: state-notifications@trykintsugi.com

  2. Click the “Next” button.

Step 7: Grant Kintsugi access

  1. In the “Select the customer access type” drop-down menu, choose “Administrator.”

  2. Click the “Next” button.

Step 8: Click the check box for the “Excise Tax” line and then press the “Next” button

Step 9: Click the “Submit” button to complete the process

Step 10: Kintsugi will get a confirmation of the request. Click OK and log out of your account.
