Updated yesterday

To import your Georgia sales tax registration into Kintsugi, you’ll need to provide a few details from your Georgia sales tax account. These credentials help us verify your registration information with the Georgia Department of Revenue and ensure your account is connected accurately.

Required Credentials

Here is the required information when importing an existing Georgia sales tax registration into Kintsugi:

  • State Registered Business Name

  • Sales Tax Account Number

  • State Registered Zip Code

  • Last Period Payment Amount

What Is my State Registered Name?

Your State Registered Name is the legal business name you used when registering for your Georgia sales tax license. This should match the business name on file with the Georgia Department of Revenue.

Where to find it?

You can usually find your State Registered Name on your Georgia sales tax registration paperwork or in your Georgia Tax Center account. Make sure to enter the name exactly as it appears on your state records to avoid verification issues.

What Is my State Tax ID?

Your State Tax ID is the Georgia sales tax account number issued to your business when you registered for a Georgia sales tax license. This may also be referred to as your Sales Tax Number or Sales Tax Account Number.

Where to find it?

You can find your State Tax ID on your Georgia sales tax registration paperwork or in your Georgia Tax Center account. You can also find it in the Georgia Tax Center (GTC) account. Enter the full number exactly as it appears in your state records

What’s my Zip Code?

Your Zip Code is the zip code associated with the address you used when registering your business with the state of Georgia. This is typically the main business address on file with the Georgia Department of Revenue.

Where to find it?

You can find this zip code in your Georgia Tax Center account under Business/Corporation Information. It may also appear on your sales tax registration paperwork.

What’s my Last Period Payment Amount?

Your Last Period Payment Amount is the most recent non-zero sales tax payment made to the state of Georgia for your sales tax account.

Where to find it?

You can find this amount by reviewing your recent Georgia sales tax filings or payment history in your Georgia Tax Center account. Use the most recent sales tax payment that was not $0.00.

If you have never filed a Georgia sales tax return for this account, enter $0.00 as the payment amount.

Next Step

Once you provide the required credentials, Kintsugi will initiate the third-party access request. You do not need to validate or approve the request separately, as Kintsugi will complete this step on your behalf.

Once access is confirmed, Kintsugi can continue with the registration import setup in the app.
