How the Tax Filing Process Works

Understand how our automatic tax filing process works and your responsibilities for timely approvals

Updated over a month ago

How it Works:

On the 1st day of every month, we automatically generate your monthly tax filing. By default, your monthly filings gets automatically approved every 5th of the month.

If need additional time to review details in a filing and want to prevent it from being automatically approved or locked, you can set a pause up to the 15th of the month. Please refer to this help article for more information: How to Pause a Filing to Prevent Auto-Approval

Important Notes:

  • If you miss the tax deadline, your filing will be delayed, which could result in penalties.

  • If you have enabled "pause filing" and want to ensure your tax return is submitted on time, please review and approve it at least three business days before the 15th of the month. This gives us sufficient time to prepare and file without delays.

Make sure to review and approve your filings promptly to keep everything running smoothly and avoid any unnecessary penalties.
