How to View Jurisdiction-Specific Currency Support

Updated over 3 weeks ago

This article explains how Kintsugi now shows the correct local currency per jurisdiction when reviewing your Nexus, Registrations, or Filings across multiple regions.

Overview

When you set the Region filter to “ALL” in the Nexus, Registrations, or Filings tabs, each jurisdiction will now display amounts in its own local currency.

This update ensures better accuracy and compliance when working with tax data across multiple countries.

Step-by-Step: How to See Local Currencies

  1. Go to the:

    • Nexus tab, or

    • Registrations tab, or

    • Filings tab

  2. Find the Region filter at the top of the page.

  3. Set the filter to "ALL" to view all regions, or select a specific region.

  4. Review the results table:

    • Each row now shows currency values based on the jurisdiction.

Currency Examples

  • EU (OSS jurisdiction) → EUR

  • United States → USD

  • Canada → CAD

  • Other countries → Their local destination currency

Why This Matters

  • Helps you track tax obligations accurately by region

  • Avoids confusion when comparing or exporting data

  • Supports destination-based tax rules for multi-jurisdiction sellers

Common Issues

If you don’t see the correct currency:

  • Double-check that the Region filter is set to accordingly.

  • Reload the tab to refresh currency values
