Bunny Ready-Only Integration Guide

Steps in installing Bunny to Kintsugi.

This guide walks you through how to connect your Bunny account with Kintsugi so that sales tax compliance is automated whenever your Bunny transactions flow through Kintsugi. Follow these steps to connect your Bunny account with Kintsugi.


Prerequisites

  • Admin access to your Bunny Admin account

  • A valid and active Kintsugi account

Step-by-Step Guide in Connecting Bunny to Kintsugi

Step 1: Get Bunny Subdomain & Generate API Client (Client ID and Client Secret)

For the Bunny Subdomain:

The highlighted link is the primary domain in the URL used as Bunny Subdomain. Copy and save it for later use.

For the Client ID & Client Secret

  1. Create an API client for security.

    1. Go to Settings.

    2. Click API clients.

    3. Fill the information for New API Client.

      1. Add a Name for the API.

      2. Add Scopes to determine the permissions you want to give.

        1. Click the “Edit” button.

        2. Setup the permissions. Please add the following suggested permissions: (1) admin:read, (2) billing:read, (3) product:read

        By clicking add and OK to submit, the three suggested permission will be the scope of the API client you're creating.

      3. Enable client credentials grant.

      4. Click Save.

  2. Copy the generated Client ID and Client Secret and save it for later use.


Step 2: Access Your Kintsugi Account

1. Log in to the Kintsugi Portal.

a. If you already have an account, log in using your username and password.

b. If you do not have an account, follow the prompts on the screen to sign up and create a new account.

Once logged in, you will be able to access your Kintsugi Dashboard.


Step 3: Start the Bunny Integration to Kintsugi

  1. From the Menu, go to the Data Sources section.

  2. Click Browse Integration.

  3. Look for Bunny and click ‘Connect.

  4. A form pops up requiring the following information: Bunny Subdomain, Client ID, and Client Secret.

  5. Fill the information required

    1. Paste here the primary domain in the URL you copied and saved earlier.

    2. Paste the Client ID & Client secret in these fields and click Save.

    3. Click Save.


Step 4: Check Integration Status

  1. Bunny should be listed as "Active" under Manage Integrations with the data status as "Syncing" in progress. Depending on the amount of data, syncing may take a little while.

  2. The Bunny Read-Only Integration is complete and data transfer is finished once the status transitions from "Syncing" to "Read-Only."


Step 5: Verify the Data on Your Dashboard

You should see your products, customers, and your invoices on the Kintsugi App.

  1. View the products by clicking Product.

  2. Go to Customers tab to see the list of customers.

  3. To check the invoices, click Transactions.

Once you confirm visibility of these data, then you are good! Kintsugi will begin calculating and monitoring where you have exposure or have reached nexus, and where you need to register.
