This guide outlines the steps required to enable third-party access in your MyTax Illinois account. Enabling these permissions is a prerequisite for Kintsugi to access your registration data and initiate the registration import workflow in Illinois.
Note: Remote sellers should activate their ST-2 prior to making the request. If not yet activated, contact the Illinois DOR Central Registration Division at 217-785-3707 or by email: REV.CentReg@Illinois.gov.
Go to MyTax Illinois.
Enter your credentials and click "Log In."
Once logged in, look for the “Manage My Profile” hyperlink in the upper right side of the screen and click it.
Look for the “Access Management” section.
Click on “Manage Third Party Access.”
A pop-up window will appear asking, “Are you sure you want to allow third party logons?”
Click the “Yes” button to continue.
For the Type of Account Access, select “File & Pay” from the drop-down list.
Click the “Save” button
After Step 8, Kintsugi will continue the process on their end. However, they need the following information to proceed, so make sure to provide them:
State Registered Business Name
Illinois Account ID
Last Payment Amount
First Name and Last Name
Business Phone Number
First Filing Period
