How to Mark Your Integration as Marketplace

Updated today

We've added a handy new feature that lets you easily tell us which of your data sources are marketplaces. This means all your future transactions from these sources will be automatically labeled as marketplace transactions!

Why is this important?

Sometimes, our system can't tell if a data source is a marketplace on its own. With this feature, you're in control! You can manually identify these sources to make sure your transactions are always categorized correctly.

This feature works for all your integrations, not just Shopify.

How to Mark a Source as a Marketplace

Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to the Data Source Page in your dashboard.

  2. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the integration you want to manage (for example, Shopify).

  3. Choose Manage Marketplace Sources from the menu that appears.

Once you do this, you'll see two tabs:

Pending Marketplace Sources

This tab shows you transactions that are waiting for you to confirm if they are marketplace sources. Here's how to manage them:

  • View Transactions:

    • Each pending source will show details like the transaction source, secondary source, secondary source ID, and how many transactions there are.

    • To look at the transactions in detail, click View Transaction.

    • A pop-up will appear, allowing you to check them out.

  • Mark as Marketplace:

    • To quickly mark a source from this list, just click the checkbox next to it.

    • Then, click Mark as Marketplace to confirm.

    • Once confirmed, the source will move from the "Pending" tab to the "Confirmed" tab.

Confirmed Marketplace Sources

This tab lists all the sources you've already marked as marketplaces. You can review them anytime here.

Filtering Options

  • Both the "Pending" and "Confirmed" tabs have filters that help you quickly find specific marketplace sources.

That's it! Now, your marked sources will automatically have all future transactions tagged as marketplace transactions, giving you accurate tracking and reporting.
